What Students Do In Detention
Anyone less than 18 years old is eligible for detention. Students are required to abide by several standard detention rules. There will be no time for talking, painting, or napping during detention because teachers are strict. The administrator will talk to the children about the rules they must abide by during detention before it begins.
A reflection form can be used as a guide to address inappropriate behavior and recurring problems. Students could also be asked to compose essays outlining appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
