What If The Instances Are Unavoidable
What if, like in Hunter’s case, the vehicle broke down? Or if the child lacks the funds to buy food? Or he slept nearly as long as children need to function well? And after being humiliated and disciplined at school?
What good will it do if the kid gets punished for the things we’ve outlined here? While we can’t entirely do away with it as a kind of punishment, we also need to take the reason for the tardiness into account.
