It can be challenging to get a kid to school on time. Breakfast must be consumed, clothes must be put on, and book bags must be prepared. Since there is little time to complete everything, many kids end up being late for school.
Each school has its own set of policies regarding tardy students. Some people attempt to collaborate with the parents to stop any further late arrivals. Others choose a harsher strategy, penalizing the student with detention.
