When is The Best Time for Disciplinary Action?
Before school, at recess, during lunchtime, and even after school, detention can happen at any time of the day. It can occur on Friday evenings or Saturdays if a child needs to be disciplined strongly. In elementary, middle, and high school, the administration may request and grant detention.
Students won’t go about their normal activities as usual; instead, they’ll go to a classroom and stay there for an additional hour or two. Students are held in detention as a form of punishment after school to sort out issues.
