The Princess Diaries

“The Princess Diaries” gave us some of the most iconic lines delivered by Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews. However, fans will never forget another cast member for her hilarious ad-lib: Heather Matarazzo, who portrayed Mia’s best friend.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Matarazzo admitted that out of all her dialogues in the movie, people would routinely come up to her and quote her line, “Not you, I don’t even know you,” which her character said while running down the street. As it turned out, this was off the script, and producer Debra Martin Chase is the one who suggested they keep it.
