Gabby Giffords & Mark Kelly – Married For 14 Years

The 50-year-old Gabby Giffords has been an active figure in politics for two decades now. Before 2000, her loyalty lay with the Republican party before making a firm switch to the Democratic party. Giffords has been in a steady marriage with former Space Shuttle Commander turned politician (current United States Senator from Arizona), Mark Kelly.
We’re guessing their shared interests, besides each other, which convinced them that it was a relationship meant-to-be. Even though they have no children together, Giffords became a stepmother to Kelly’s daughters from his first marriage. Giffords has been a gun control advocate, even before her near-assassination in 2011.
