A powerful and influential woman who became an idol to females around the world recently, Kamala Harris swore in as the 49th Vice President of the United States in 2021. It made her the first female, first African-American, and first Asian to bear the title, putting her in the books as the highest-ranking female in the country’s history thus far.

The 56-year-old has been married to a lawyer named Doug Emhoff since 2014, who, with the inauguration, became the first Second Gentleman of United States history.
