Bernie Sanders & Jane Sanders – Married For 33 Years

You can’t be a political enthusiast if you don’t know who Bernie Sanders is. He started off as a member of the Liberty Union Party but only earned widespread attention after becoming the 37th Mayor of Burlington in 1981. Today, at 79, Sanders is the junior United States Senator from Vermont and the Chair of the Senate Budget Committee. He has also attempted to pursue the presidency of the nation twice.

Long before Sanders’s political career became a thing, he had a very short-lived marriage with Deborah Shiling. However, most know his spouse to be Jane Sanders, as they’ve been married and having each other’s backs since 1988.
