Idris Elba – East London, £2.5 Million

When Hollywood legend Idris Elba purchased his lavish home located down in Hackney in East London, he immediately got in some bit of trouble with his neighbors because of some renovation plans. The Luther star wanted to build a video and production studio in his basement, something the neighbors weren’t okay with.

Still, Elba got his way, and apart from the state-of-the-art studio, the DJ lives in the abode, which comes with three massive bedrooms among a host of other ultra-modern amenities. Idris has worked hard to reach the top, and he deserves all the good things he owns.
