Never in a million years did Michael Crawford think he would buy a house in another country and move there – but he did! The Phantom of the Opera actor spent £1.9 million for a beachside abode in New Zealand, and he revealed it was the best decision he ever made for his health.

The property is nicely sized with an extensive garage, a swimming pool with a heating function, plus a fantastic view of the sea from every corner of the house. With the beautiful scenery, the place has to offer, it’s no wonder Crawford didn’t think twice about staying there for good!
