David Bowie – The Island of Mustique
The island of Mustique is a private island in the Grenadines where David Bowie lived with Princess Margaret and Mick Jagger as neighbors. This was the house of one’s dreams with an Indonesian-style pavilion that circled two ponds. Its water trickled down into a swimming pool that looked resplendent during sunset.
It was during a trip to Mick Jagger’s place, during a boating incident that Bowie was stranded at the Caribbean island. He then decided to make this heaven on earth his home. Though his main house was in Lausanne, Switzerland, the late star spent a good amount of time at Mustique with his wife Iman.
