Gary Speed – Chester, £1.5 Million

Gary Speed met a tragic end when he decided to take his own life and left his seemingly perfect life behind. Given the emotional circumstance, it was understandable when the athlete’s wife, Louise Speed, decided to put their Chester-based residence on the market with an asking price of £1.5 million.

The property was originally bought in 2005 for £1.3 million and was constructed in 1670. It was clear that Louise was not out to make money from the transaction. The pair had extensively remodeled it with the hopes of raising a happy family with their two sons.
