Thomas was confident in his abilities and believed he could get a job in his hometown. He was ready to inform Iris that he could afford a nice home. Throughout the week, the two corresponded through electronic methods. They spoke often and awaited the weekends. The pair exchanged images whenever Thomas had spare time.

Before he could tell anybody his good news, he received an unexpected gift. After work on certain days, Thomas would go to a pub. He needed a break from Iris, and a few beers were all he wanted. He’d have interesting talks with women he met there on occasion.
