Last Snapshot Before Mysterious Disappearance
Lisanne Froon, a backpacker, is the lady seen in this photo. Kris Kremers, her friend, took the picture when they were traversing the lush Panama landscapes in 2014. Anyone would agree that it creates a snapshot of a seemingly happy woman living her best life.
Records revealed that just two hours after taking this photo, the two Dutch nationals attempted to reach 911. They also tried to call the police for help, ten days later, and what befell them remains a mystery. Locals eventually recovered their backpacks and partial remains.
