Last Photo Before They Died in a Tsunami
John and Jackie Knill considered Thailand their second home and often visited for fun vacations. For Christmas in 2004, the couple decided to explore Khao Lak, where they were having a blast and even called their children to wish them wonderful holidays.
The next day while taking a stroll on the beach, they saw a huge wave in the distance.
The duo continued taking pictures, oblivious of the impending danger. Sadly, the wave was a tsunami, and as soon as it hit the shore, it swept away thousands of people, including the Knills.
