Look! My Long-Lost Family!

Donald Duck running after a family of ducks make for an adorable photo! Goofy and Pluto seemed excited about the meeting, too; just look at them, watching in amazement! Along with Minnie Mouse, these characters, Daisy Duck, Horace, and Clarabelle, make up Mickey’s circle of friends.

Donald’s first look from 1934 is barely recognizable. He first appeared in the cartoon The Wise Little Hen based on The Little Red Hen’s story, although the highlight was his voice (Clarence Nash). Apart from his design, his personality evolved, too, and we now know him as the ill-tempered, sailor-hat-wearing character.
