Cheeky partners in crime Chip and Dale had always competed for Clarice’s attention, and in this photo, it would seem that there was nothing wrong with it. But if you look closer, it’s as if they were looking at her feet!

Clarice first appeared in the 1952 episode Two Chips and a Miss as a singer at the Acorn Club. She became the first reason Chip and Dale fought, although she wasn’t a mainstay in the series. Despite this, she became huge in Japan, often featured with more prominent Disney stars like Mickey Mouse in media.
