Shih Tzu
One of the most popular breeds not just in the United States but also in Asia is the Shih Tzu, also called a lion dog for its growing hair on the head and face. There’s a common misconception that they came from China but they actually originated in Tibet. The name is also associated with the Buddhist God of Learning.
They are the perfect indoor dog, but they may be hard to train. According to Mental Floss, it would take around 40 to 50 repetitions before they became familiar with potty routines. As such, it would be ideal to start teaching them during puppyhood.
