Doberman
Dobermans have a reputation for being security dogs. However, there is more to the, than just that. Originally from Germany, the dog popped up in the 1880s, making it a relatively young breed. A tax collector named Herr Karl Louis Dobermann wanted to feel safe as he was transporting money, so he thought of introducing a new kind of canine.
Their ears and tails are often docked, some for aesthetic purposes, while others want to avoid future injuries. However, this has become a banned practice in countries like the United Kingdom and Australia. Dobermans are not for everyone because they need training and constant exercise due to their stamina.
