Jaws
The 1975 box-office suspense movie “Jaws” set the bar high for survival movies, and it was directed by no less than acclaimed filmmaker Stephen Spielberg. Apparently, it also features an ad-lib that the crew and the cast had talked about behind the scenes.
“You’re gonna need a bigger boat,” the unforgettable line from Roy Scheider when he saw the shark up close had a double meaning. According to one of the screenwriters, the group was, in fact, referencing the “stingy” producers who didn’t grant the team’s requests. The writer tried to incorporate this line throughout the film but found it was most appropriate during that scene.
