The Princess Bride
The 1987 fantasy romance movie “The Princess Bride” is an excellent watch if you’re down in the dumps. The consolation is that even the cast members and the crew had a lot of fun making the film that was full of ad-libs – one of which was Miracle Max the Wizard’s (Billy Crystal) line, “Have fun storming the castle!”
As per Crystal’s interview with Entertainment Tonight, there were a lot of improvisational quips that didn’t make the cut. One was so hilarious that actor Cary Elwes, who played Westley, couldn’t keep a straight face. In the end, a double had to replace him to finish the scene.
