In the heart-wrenching moment, Leia Organa confessed her love for Han Solo. He was about to be encapsulated, and we heard him replying, “I know.” This became one of the most memorable romantic moments between the two characters, but as it turned out, it could have gone differently had Harrison Ford stuck with the original script.

Solo was supposed to say “I love you too,” but he never did because the celebrity reportedly didn’t think it was fitting, thanks to Ford’s suggestion to filmmaker Irvin Kershner. The actor also encouraged other co-stars, including Mark Hamill, to ad-lib because he did it throughout the production.
