Iron Man
Robert Downey Jr. was already an exceptional actor before landing his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the “Iron Man” franchise made him a household name. Well, we would like to think that it goes both ways: that the man also largely contributed to the success of the movies.
One fine example of this was Downey’s improvised line “I am Iron Man” during the last scene of the 2008 movie. Director Kevin Feige found the ad-lib so fitting to the revelation of the character’s identity that he didn’t cut it out from the film. Of course, this dialogue changed everything for the franchise.
