Julie and Julia

“The Devil Wears Prada” was hardly the last time Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci, who played a boss and her assistant in the 2006 movie, worked on a project together. The 2009 biopic “Julie & Julia” followed that, where they played husband and wife.

In one pivotal scene where Julia asks Paul what she would do in Paris, the conversation led to the latter saying, “And you are so good at it. Look at you!” which Tucci made up on the spot. He ended up forging a friendship with Streep, and we can only guess how much they talked about their previous work together.
