Casablanca
The 1942 romantic movie “Casablanca” is about the unconditional love of an expatriate for his former flame and the lengths he is willing to go to help her and her husband. There are a lot of iconic lines from the film, but one that truly stuck to our heads is “Here’s looking at you, kid.”
Apparently, this was Humphrey Bogart’s improvised dialogue during the flashback scene at the Warner Bros parking lot, and the writers loved it! As such, they asked the actor to say it one more time, which resulted in this iconic sequence. “Casablanca” won big at the Oscar Awards, bagging Best Picture, Best Directing, and Best Writing.
