In June, it was revealed that Ezekiel Elliot and a few more of his teammates had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Elliot’s agent sent out his own press release regarding the diagnosis and claimed that his symptoms were mild and that he was in self-isolation at home.

The three-time Pro-Bowl selected player remained cautious despite feeling good and laid off the workouts for the full quarantine period. In a Twitch chat with YouTuber Scooter Magruder, he said that despite feeling good, he was still short of breath and also had a nagging cough. In a separate interview, he shared his concern about how the NFL would continue the season.
