Tony Shalhoub – Age 66
The only thing more ironic that a virologist getting COVID-19 is the world’s favorite germaphobe detective getting COVID-19. At least we mean the actor who played everyone’s favorite germaphobe detective. But apparently, both Tony Shalhoub and his wife Brooke Adams contracted the virus.
The actor, who won an Emmy for playing the constantly sanitizing, always sanitary former cop Adrian Monk, said that he contracted the virus in April 2020. He noted that it was a pretty rough experience but empathetically noted that he understands that others have had it worse. Both he and his wife have since recovered.
