Patrick Ewing – Age 57

NBA basketball legend and New York Knicks Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing revealed on 22 May that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Ewing, The current head coach of the Georgetown University men’s basketball team, was confirmed to be the only positive case on the team.

He isolated at a hospital for a few days before being sent home to continue his quarantine. He posted a message stating that the virus is severe and urged people to stay safe. He also thanked frontline workers for the great work they were doing and for putting themselves at risk.
