Danny Burstein – Age 56

Danny Burnstein was starring in the hit Broadway musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical, when all shows were abruptly halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Things would get even worse for the singer and actor, as he would also test positive for the dreaded virus.

He had every symptom the virus produces, from fever to migraines, aches, pains, and he lost his sense of smell and taste. He also had every medication from Tylenol to cough syrup, an inhaler, and even antibiotics. He eventually spent five days in a COVID unit, where they gave him the anti-malaria drug Hydroxychloroquine. He’s not sure if it helped, or if the virus ran its course.
