Lesley Stahl – Age 78

Long-term CBS producer and 60 Minutes reporter Lesley Stahl shared her COVID-19 battle on an episode of the show in May 2020. She apparently tried to self-isolate and recover at home. But after struggling with pneumonia for two weeks, she decided that hospital was the better option for her.

At 78, Stahl has one of the most severe comorbidities: age. This is most likely why, after she was deemed recovered, the staff clapped and cheered her out of the hospital. She was also grateful to the staff and saluted them, saying they’re not just doing a job, but fulfilling a mission.
