Jimmie Johnson, a seven-time NASCAR champion, had never missed a race since he started racing professionally. Then he tested positive for COVID-19, as announced on 3 July, and for the first time in his career, had to miss a race on that would’ve taken place on 5 July.

Then a few days later, Johnson tested negative. You would think he’d be relieved, but instead, he was angry. According to him, so mad that he may have made up a few new curse words while being angry. He wasn’t just mad about the race, but also because of the fear he had felt for himself and his children.
