Daniele Rugani – Age 25

In the early stages of the pandemic, Italy was one of the hardest-hit countries in terms of the infection-to-death ratio. So it was almost no surprise when players from some of the country’s top soccer clubs started testing positive. One of those players was Juventus’ Daniel Rugani.

The defender was in good spirits when he announced his diagnosis, saying that although he was the first player in Italian soccer to get it, he was fine and only showing mild symptoms. After a few days of isolation, he took to his club’s channel, saying that he’s watched almost everything on Netflix while making a few recommendations for fans to watch.
