Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton – Together Since 1996

Sometimes when you meet ‘the one,’ you have no doubts about it, and Cate Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton are a prime example of this. The couple met in 1996 on the set of a TV show and hit it off almost immediately. Less than a year later, i.e., in 1997, they got married.

Since then, they have been inseparable, sharing homes in England and Australia while raising their kids. In 2015 the family adopted a child, which they had been looking forward to for the longest time possible. After living in Brighton for a decade, the family decided to move to Australia in 2006 permanently.
