The Nick Riley Incident

This picture was posted to the page of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources law Enforcement’s Facebook profile, and it had people wondering why this man was being ticketed for riding in a Tikes tug boat. Several comments and shares of the post later revealed that this was not the case.

This man named Nick Riley was not ticketed. In fact, the officers just asked him for the registration papers and this picture was taken while returning the documents to him. Interestingly, Riley had completed his homework and registered the motorboat before taking it for a ride in the lake.
