Caridad Canelón is a renowned Venezuelan actress and singer who has worked in theater, film and television, standing out mainly in soap operas. Her first appearance on the screen was in the television series Sor Alegría in 1967. Later, soap operas such as Wuthering Summits, Gardenia, Llovizna, El País de las Mujeres and Toda Mujer followed. Within the extensive list of telenovelas, one of the most prominent in the actress’s career is undoubtedly Atrévete in which Caridad played Mariela Román. In 2016, she was seen acting for the last time in the telenovela Corazón betrayed and in the series Test of Faith.
