Maybrit Illner and René Obermann – married for 10 years

Until 2007, the presenter Maybrit Illner was still married to her then-husband Michael. After the separation, she married her current husband, René Obermann. The studied journalist is particularly known for her political programs such as “Bundestagwahlen” and the “ZDF Morgenmagazin”.
Since 2007 she has also had her own program named after her, “Maybritt Illner”, and can sometimes be seen as the spokeswoman for the “heute journal”, where she alternates with the other two main speakers. She can also call German awards such as the “Golden Camera” and the “Bambi” her own. Her current husband was CEO of “Deutsche Telekom” and therefore a respected businessman. He also took two daughters with him from his previous marriage and is himself in his second marriage to Illner.
