Dunya Hayali

After studying journalism, Dunja Hayali began working in radio and later in television. She is an award-winning journalist who often stands up to critics in her fight against racism. The daughter of Iraqi parents is often exposed to racism due to her public position and when she came out she feared that her parents, who are strongly religious Christians, would not accept her either. But her concern was unfounded. She dated singer Maraike Arning for a long time and is now single, but has admitted that she would like to have children one day.
