Dale Earnhardt and His Wife Holding Hands Hours Before His Death
Ralph Dale Earnhardt Sr. started his career as an auto racer in 1975. He took part in the Winston Cup Series, which we now know as the NASCAR. Nicknamed “The Intimidator,” because of his aggressive driving style, he took part in the 2001 Daytona 500 race.
This photo or Earnhardt and his wife was taken hours before he stepped into his #3 black race car. It is the perfect image of a supportive and loving pair, but little did they know that he would lose his life to a devastating three-vehicle crash during the event.
