Nicole Richie is the daughter of musical legend, Lionel Richie, and a little known fact is that he adopted Nicole from one of his band members who were in financial straits and couldn’t provide for her. Lionel even wrote a sensational track for the then two-year-old princess, ‘Ballerina Girl,’ which topped charts worldwide.
