Kamala Harris – $5 Million

Newly elected United States Vice President Kamala Harris has a $5-million net worth, but a huge chunk of it is attributable to her husband, Douglas Emhoff. The Oakland, California native was first a district lawyer from 2004 to 2011 before becoming an attorney-general until 2017.

Harris became a senator in 2017, and three years later, she was announced to be Joe Biden’s running mate. Apart from her and her husband’s earnings, the 56-year-old also made money out of her three written works, including her memoir, The Truths We Hold: An American Journey.
