With only a $1.5-million fortune, politician Amy Klobuchar doesn’t belong to the richest Senate members. However, the amount is a far cry from her 2009 net worth of $465,000. Earlier reports claim that her primary source of income is her government salary. Her 2015 memoir, The Senator Next Door, also provides royalties.

During the pandemic, the senator has also been actively fighting against misinformation. In January 2021, she requested Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Google to monitor the dissemination of fake news about the COVID-19 vaccine. Then in February, she reiterated that it is safe to get vaccinated.
