Anderson Cooper – $200 million
You guys definitely get to see Anderson Cooper on TV regularly because he has been the host of his own show called Anderson Cooper 360° for more than a decade now. He is the most popular American TV journalist who’s openly gay according to The New York Times.
He earns a total of $12 million per year and his current net worth is said to be at $200 million. In 2020, Cooper also got to host episodes of CNN Newsroom and The Situation Room. He also serves as a correspondent for 60 Minutes.
Regis Philbin – $150 Million
When it comes to sheer numbers, it seems like nobody’s ever going to take Regis Philbin’s place. The iconic host of multiple game shows, such as Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Philbin was awarded the Guinness World Record for “most hours on U.S. television,” a distinction that pretty much sums up how hard he worked throughout his career.
If you turned the small-screen on, there was a good chance you were going to see Philbin’s face. Sadly, the show business veteran passed away earlier in 2020 due to health complications. His legacy, though, is undeniably relevant, as was his fortune of $150 million.
