Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may not have a million-dollar net worth yet, but she has been making waves in the political arena and has a long career ahead of her. Known as AOC, she currently serves as the representative for New York’s 14th congressional district, having started the role in 2019.

She is the youngest person to sit in Congress, having landed her role at 29 years. Her victory was also considered as a massive upset since she ousted a 10-year incumbent  Joe Crowley.
