When it comes to history-making women in American politics, they don’t get more iconic than Nancy Pelosi. She is the only woman in American history to serve as the speaker for the House of Representatives. She has also done it in two separate stints: once from 2007 to 2011 and again from 2019.

She is also the second person in the succession line for president of the United States, behind Vice President Kamala Harris. Her net worth of $120 million makes her the 6th richest person in Congress, although most of this is linked to her husband’s investments in Apple and Facebook, among others.
