Lauren & Loraine Vélez – Actresses

As Lauren Vélez prefers acting on camera, her twin sister, Lorain, likes to do so on stage. They’re both incredibly talented actresses, after all, they’ve been doing so quite successfully since at least the early ‘00s. Lauren’s played in series like Dexter, Oz, and Ugly Betty, whereas Loraine’s participated in Broadway productions.

They were born in November 1964 in Brooklyn, to Puerto-Rican parents. Today, they can both confidently say that they’ve achieved their dreams. In 2019 Lorraine participated in the Broadway production of Miss You Like Hell. In the meantime, Lauren’s most recent project was the film called Murder, in 2018.
