Lee Wilde & Lyn Wilde — Singer & Actress
Lee and Lyn Wilde started out as singers in their church, and in their teenage years, they had sung their local radio station’s hymns. In 1940, they began getting their earnings by singing in a band, which led to their debut on the big screen when they were cast in the film Juke Box Jenny as band vocalists.
Their performances also landed them another movie appearance in the film Presenting Lily Mars. They were later signed to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios and they started in films Andy Hardy’s Blonde Trouble and Twice Blessed. The twin sisters ended up marrying brothers Jim and Tom Cathcart.
