Mikhail Prokhorov – North Island, $35 Million
Mikhail Prokhorov is known as one of Russia’s most prominent industrialists and one of the most interesting men in the world. He also has a luxury yacht which he needs to take places, and what better place to take it than a tropical island. He bought North Island in Seychelles, complete with a resort containing 11 villas.
The owner of the New Jersey Nets NBA team, as well as a few gold mines, has turned the island resort into a five-star hotel and attracts Hollywood A-listers like George Clooney. Besides luxury, it also offers activities like fishing, scuba diving, and paddling and has various restaurants on-site too.
