Georges Cohen – Calivigny, Price Undisclosed
After purchasing Calivigny in the Caribbean, It took French businessman Georges Cohen and his wife ten years to renovate the resort the way they wanted it. Part of the renovations included shipping plants and palm trees from a nursery in Barbados, and when they finished, they had a 50-bed resort in a 140,000 square foot beach house with a grand salon, dining room, and ten suites.
They also opened another building called the overhang that has nine suites. You can’t book rooms on their own; instead, you can book the entire 50-bed resort on an all-inclusive package for $140,000 a night.
