How do you top buying your wife a $24,000 platinum covered phone? By purchasing her an island. That’s what 99 Problems rapper Jay Z did for his pop star wife, Beyoncé. The 12.5-acre Bahamian island off the Florida Keys cost $20 million and is just a short flight from Miami, a trip that should be easy using the $40 million jet Beyoncé got Jay Z in 2012.
The couple won’t be heading to the island anytime soon, though; they currently live in New York and recently celebrated their twins’ second birthday at home under coronavirus lockdown.
