Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt – Petra Island, $14.9 Million

Even though this rumor was debunked, it’s still fascinating how it was fueled. It all started with a common interest between Brad Pitt, and the design of the island. No, not because it’s heart-shaped, but because the design of the 5,000-square-foot primary residence, known as Massaro House, was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, Pitt’s favorite architect.

With Pitt’s 50th birthday coming up and tabloids seeing a juicy rumor opportunity, the island story just fell into place. The Island and residence have been on the market since November 2012, with current owner Joseph Massaro dropping his price to $12.9 million in 2019. It isn’t open to the public, but Massaro has offered his residence as a venue for fundraisers.
